Important Info

DAY OF ARRIVAL

Should you arrive after reception has closed, then please let us know and we can send you a temporary access code which will allow one entry and one exit before midnight.


DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE APARTMENT

Entrance opposite the Salt Rock City shopping complex.

You will receive an access code in advance for you to enter the main security gate. You'll need to show your ID Drivers licence.

As you enter the estate, turn right at the roundabout and follow that road, keeping left at the fork (to clubhouse), immediatly after which you will pass a kids play area & raised clubhouse building behind it on your right side. We are the second driveway on your right after the play area and as you enter the driveway, it forks left & right - keep left and our garage in on the first one on the right side of that block.

There are open parking bays to the right side of it, but please use the garage during your stay to free up visitors parking.

KINDLY NOTE: Speed limit in the estate is 25km and that fines will be billed to the guests.


ACCESS TO THE APARTMENT

Take the steps up from garage level. No 9 is the gate on the right side. in the key safe (Key Lockbox) you will find a set of keys for the courtyard gate, front door and garage side door.

We will send you the code prior to arrival.


Please use his set to open up and return the keys to key safe immediately after as our housekeeper Sindy will use them to access the apartment.


APARTMENT KEYS

You will find another set of key & garage remote in a basket on the consle inside. Please leave this set in the basket when you depart and lock up with the set kept in the key safe (lockbox)


HOUSEKEEPING

Housekeeping Services will clean the apartment Mondays and Thursdays.

For additional cleaning services please ask the Luxury Coastal Escapes team to arrange this for you.


UTILITIES

Nespresso machine and intergrated dishwasher in the kitchen. Washing machine is located inside the cupboard in the passage by the master bedroom and the tumble dryer is in the garage.

House Rules

Understanding and complying with our house rules will ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. Please treat our home with the same respect as you would your own. We’ve put a lot of effort into creating a lovely space for our guests to enjoy.



BE RESPECTFUL

The staff are key to a successful holiday and the efficient running of your holiday home. Please treat them with the utmost respect at all times. We will not tolerate any mistreatment of our staff.

Regretfully, our staff are unable to babysit, wash cars, do shopping/unpack shopping, or perform tasks beyond their designated duties.



OCCUPANCY

The maximum number of persons occupying the unit at any time must not exceed the number of beds. A maximum of two guests per bedroom is allowed unless the homeowner has provided extra beds.

Camping on the property is NOT permitted.



DON’T FEED THE MONKEYS

Under no circumstances should you feed the monkeys—whether adult or baby!

Please be aware that monkeys are inquisitive and can become aggressive.

Don’t leave fruit or food within their sight—they will come inside, create a mess, panic, and potentially break items.

Close all windows and doors when leaving the house.



NO SMOKING

No smoking is permitted inside the house. Please smoke outside, away from windows or furniture.



NO PARTIES

Parties, overcrowding, or excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate eviction without a refund of rent.

Guests will be liable for any damages incurred as a result of parties held at the rental home.



BEACH TOWELS

Please do not use bathroom towels at the beach. Beach towels are provided for this purpose.



LEAVE AS FOUND

Accidents happen, so please report any breakages or damage to our team. If anything is broken, it must be replaced “like for like” by the guest to ensure a full refund of the breakage deposit.



BE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS

Use linen and towels sparingly.

Please conserve water and electricity. Turn off fans and air conditioning when not in use.

Recycle where possible—let’s care for our planet together.

Do not flush foreign materials down the toilet.



GUEST AMENITIES POLICY

We kindly request that all guest amenities, such as hand wash and toiletries, remain on the property for the enjoyment of future guests. Should any items be taken or removed, the cost of replacement will be charged in full.



FIREWORKS PROHIBITED

For the safety of all guests and neighbours, fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property.

Before you Go...

DEPARTURE DAY

Check-out is at or before 10 am. 

Please communicate your check out time with our team or the house staff the day prior to departure.



PERSONAL BELONGINGS

As you prepare to depart, we kindly remind you to double-check your belongings to ensure you haven't left anything behind. Should you find that you've inadvertently left a personal item behind, please don't worry. You can easily arrange for a courier to collect it at your convenience. However, any unclaimed items remaining a the house after checkout will be collected and donated to our staff. This ensures that these items find a new purpose and are put to good use.



KEYS

Please make sure you leave any keys & remotes in the key safe (key lockbox),

or communicate with us where you left the keys.



LEAVING EARLY?

Please switch off all lights, and air-conditioning, and close all windows. 



STAFF OVERTIME PAYMENT

Please remember to settle any money owing to the staff (overtime, additional laundry, tips etc.)

must be paid directly to each staff member in (ZAR) cash.

Should you fail to pay in full, this will be deducted from your holding/breakage deposit.



DEPARTURE FORM

Please remember to complete the departure form.
