Classic modern style family home in the elegant Simbithi Eco Estate, Ballito. Bringing the exterior in and interior out, the home invites sunlight into all the living and private spaces. Once inside, the living and entertainment spaces lead into one another without any barriers, and this creates the foundation for relaxation.
This is a perfect home for a family holiday as it offers kids a TV/play lounge with Xbox, jungle gym, trampoline, swimming pool and direct access to the fishing dam below. Lots to keep the kids busy during the holidays when you are not at the beach.

Kingfisher Community Centre and the family Heron Community Centre. Both centres with pools and fun family activities. Please note that not all Simbithi facilities are available to guests. Please see Simbithi's Website for more information.

Ballito is situated along the heart of the Dolphin Coast, nestled among the fields of KwaZulu-Natal, and flanked to the east by golden beaches and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

The main swimming beach in Ballito is Willard Beach. It provides safe swimming with qualified life-guards seven days a week, and is protected with shark nets. It also has a fully equipped first aid station. Willard Beach is also a popular spot for surfing and body boarding.
Lifeguards and shark nets are provided at a second beach, Clarke Bay. Further south of Clarke Bay is the Ballito tidal pool which caters for the young and old. The pools are well maintained, clean and are home to a wide variety of sea life. Moving South is Salmon Bay, which is a launch area for watercraft. This beach is also popular with surfers. The Ballito Inflatable Boat clubhouse is also located here.

BACK-UP POWER

This house does not get effected by the loadshedding schedule.

In the event of power failure, rechargeable lamps are available in the bedrooms and a gas hob for cooking and borehole water and Jojo water tanks.

The solar system will automatically kick in and this will last for about 6-8 hours depending on the weather and usage.

Main Bedroom: Four-poster king-size bed (extra length), built-in wardrobe, aircon, TV, stacker doors onto the front verandah. Open plan en-suite bathroom with double shower, roll top bath and separate loo 

Bedroom Two: Two single beds, ceiling fan and aircon, built-in wardrobes and shared access to the family bathroom with bath & shower

Bedroom Three: Two single beds, smart TV, ceiling fan and aircon, desk, built-in wardrobes and shared access to the family bathroom with bath & shower

Bedroom Four: Queen four-poster bed, smart TV, ceiling fan & aircon, stacker doors onto the top verandah, built-in wardrobes and en-suite with walk-in shower

Bedroom Five (downstairs): King-size bed (extra length), aircon, stacker doors onto the front verandah, TV, freestanding wardrobe and en-suite with shower and rails for disabled or elderly. 

OWNERS PETS

The family has two Boston terriers and a Siamese cat that live with the family during the year. 

Please note that the cat does remain in the house during guests' stays and is looked after by the staff.

We suggest guests be conscious of this if they are prone to pet allergies.

Luxury Coastal Escapes accept reservations on an owner request procedure, then on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please note that we do not accept all adult bookings, and have a preference to family bookings.
