Photoshoot Guide
The photos are the most important part of your listing as they will help us market your home to potential guests. We have some spectacular homes on our collection and your photographs are key in competing with the other homes on offer. The more you can do to stage your house the better.
BEDROOMS
Please ensure all beds are made up hotel style with ironed white linen and scatter cushions with a bed-end throw or blanket.
Curtains and windows are open for the view.
Please clear all surfaces and de-clutter/de-personalise.
No small family framed pictures out.
No towels on the bed.
BATHROOMS
Remove all toiletries from the shower or around the bath and basin.
Full toilet rolls and clean mirrors.
No floor mats and neatly hung towels
PLANTS & GREENERY
If you would like to add some flowers or greenery this will go a long way to improving the atmosphere of the rooms
KITCHEN, BAR & ENTERTAINING AREA
Please declutter all the counters, and remove all the oil, spices etc.
Display your kettle, coffee maker, toaster or any appliances guests might need. Best to display what is available in the kitchen for guests to visualise.
SET / STAGE A DINING TABLE
Optional but recommended: A staged dining table with plate settings, wine glasses etc next to the braai or inside the house will be a very nice addition to your listing and images
BRAAI, FIREPLACE & FIRE PIT
Wood packed neatly and tidy next to the built-in braai area, Webber / gas braai cleaned and out. Pillows at a fire pit seating area and light a fire if you want. Indoor fireplace, also with neat packed wood and lit if possible. These amenities are very important to our South African guests.
POOL, GARDEN & LAWN
Lawns need to be neatly cut and garden areas clear.
Have the pool as clean and as blue as possible with the Creepy Crawley removed, the umbrella out and opened.
Have a few pillows or neutral colour towels out by the pool loungers area to complete the picture.
GOLF CART & PARKING AREA
Please have the golf cart out, cleaned and parked.
Driveway and parking area neat and tidy for aerial or drone shots (weather permitted)
HOUSEKEEPERS & CARETAKERS
Very Important: As a lovely addition to your home listing, we would also like to include an image of your staff in your listing. They need to be dressed in plain black or white shirts or uniforms. No lace or patterns, or colourful clothing.
