Beverley Homestead is the original, and still family-owned, historic farm house in the heart of Simbithi, once rolling sugar cane fields, now an exclusive and award-winning Eco-Estate. This characterful 5-bedroom house is set in a superb subtropical garden, shaded by massive indigenous trees, overlooking an inviting pool. Created by internationally-renowned floral artist Rosemary Ladlau, it is regarded as one of the great private gardens of South Africa.

Now the homestead has been imaginatively updated to welcome guests seeking a private retreat within minutes of the bustling holiday resort and shopping centres of Ballito, and the KwaZulu Natal North Coast’s famous surfing, diving, whale and dolphin-spotting beaches.
Comfort and style co-habit; every room has its own quirky character; indoor and outdoor living are stylishly combined. Contemporary artworks specially created for the homestead blend seamlessly with pieces by many leading local artists, African crafts, and collections of family antiques. BACK-UP POWER

This house may be affected by the load-shedding schedule.

In the event of power failures a gas hob for cooking is available inside and a gas braai is available outside

The inverter system will kick in automatically and this will last for about 24 - 48 hours depending on the use.


BEDROOMS

Bedroom One: King-size bed with garden view, ceiling fan, aircon, freestanding cupboard and ensuite with inside shower, separate toilet and double basin, and an outside shower.

Bedroom Two: Two single beds that can be converted to a king-bed when pushed together. This room has a garden view, ceiling fan, air con, freestanding cupboard and shared family bathroom next door with shower, separate toilet and basin.

Bedroom Three: King-size bed with garden view, ceiling fan, aircon, freestanding cupboard and ensuite with shower, open plan toilet and double basin and an outside shower.

Bedroom Four: One: King-size bed with garden view, ceiling fan, aircon, freestanding cupboard and shared family bathroom next door with shower, separate toilet and basin.

Bedroom Five: King-size bed with garden view, ceiling fan, aircon, freestanding cupboard and ensuite with shower, open plan toilet and single basin. This bedroom is detached from the main house and has a private balcony.


Staff accommodation available for up two persons in the staff quarters with shared access to a communal shower and toilet.

Rental includes Housekeeping from Monday to Friday, from 8 am until 2 pm

Peak Season: from December & January. General High season period. Minimum of 10 - 14 nights' stay

Mid Season: A combination of Provincial Private and Public School Holidays and Long Weekends. Minimum of 3 - 5 nights' stay

Low Season: All dates outside Peak & Mid Season periods. Minimum of 2 nights' stay

This house offers limited availability throughout the year.

Luxury Coastal Escapes accept reservations on an owner request procedure, then on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please note that we do not accept all adult bookings, and have a preference to family bookings.

We do not accept student bookings & no parties are allowed at the holiday rental.
