DESCRIPTION

This charming four-bedroom freestanding cottage on the beach in Salt Rock.

The house is set over one level with 3 of the 4 bedrooms being on an outside wing of the house which opens onto an undercover courtyard with a small plunge pool and walled garden. The main house has the 4th family bedroom, kitchen and open plan dining/living room with TV. The front undercover verandah offers further dining and soft seating with a garden and direct access onto Salt Rock main beach.

This house does not have back up power. In the event of a power failure or loadshedding, there are rechargeable lights in each room. There is a charcoal braai/ BBQ for cooking and a kettle for a gas stove for tea & coffee.

 

Kindly note: The owner has a dog (Rottweiler) and a cat that is allowed into the house. The pets are not in the house when guests are staying, however, we would suggest guests be conscious about this if they are prone to pet allergies.  The owner does reside in a small cottage off the driveway. Your privacy will be respected and you can enjoy the quiet enjoyment of the house for the duration of your stay.

 

SECURITY

The house offers security with a fully fenced garden, external beams & National Security 24/7 reaction team. 

 

HOUSEKEEPING

Rental includes housekeeping Monday to Friday from 8 am until 2 pm

(Public holidays are not included in the rental but can be arranged at an extra cost)

Weekend only bookings housekeeping are included on a Saturday.

Bedroom One:  Family Bedroom in the Main House has 2 queen size beds, sea views, ceiling fan, chest of drawers & freestanding wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, loo & basin

Bedroom Two (Courtyard Wing): King size bed, ceiling fan, freestanding wardrobe, access onto the courtyard and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, loo & basin

Bedroom Three (Courtyard Wing): King size bed, ceiling fan, dressing table, freestanding wardrobe, access onto the courtyard and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, loo & basin

Bedroom Four (Courtyard Wing): Double bed, ceiling fan, open shelves & hanging, access onto the courtyard and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, loo & basin

 

RESERVATIONS

This house offers limited availability throughout the year.

We do not accept student bookings & the owner will always give preference to family bookings. 

High season bookings require 14 nights or more for this house

No parties are allowed at the home.
