SIMBITHI Arrival Info

DAY OF ARRIVAL

Proceed to the Welcome Centre at Simbithi MAIN gate for fingerprint & biometric registration prior to going to the house.

 

Only the drivers listed on the Short-Term Access Form will need to go inside reception for a brief orientation and fingerprint & biometric registration access.

Please bring your original ID for this process. 

 

If you would like to add any additional drivers over and beyond what was originally listed on the Short-Term Access Form. The first two guests to be fingerprinted are paid for by the homeowner. 

 

If you have stayed in the estate before then your fingerprint will be re-activated.

 

Welcome Centre Reception Opening Hours

Monday to Friday 7:00 - 17:00

Saturday 8:00 - 16:00

Public Holidays & Sundays are 8:00 - 14:00

 

Should you arrive after reception has closed, then please let us know and we can send you a temporary access code which will allow one entry and one exit before midnight.

You can then go to the Welcome centre the next morning to get your registration done.

DIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE APARTMENT

Enter through the South Gate.

Once through the gate, at the circle take right up Tamboti drive.

Follow to the top of the hill.

As you start descending you will see the number 15 Tamboti on your left.

ACCESS FOR FAMILY/FRIENDS & DELIVERIES 

Please WhatsApp your LCE Rep to request a visitor’s access code. You will be allowed a max of 4 codes per day. Each code will allow 1 entry & 1 exit before midnight.

HOUSEKEEPING

Buzzie Lizzie Housekeeping Services will clean the apartment 3 times a week.

No cleaning services on Sundays and Public Holidays.

 

 

POWER FAILURES

This apartment does not get affected by loadshedding.

In the event of power failure, the UPS will kick in automatically.

A gas braai is available for cooking. Rechargeable lamps will be available.

 

BEACH ACCESS

The estate offers guests a beach gate at the end of Trimeria Walk on The Eco side of the estate. This is a pedestrian-only gate and access is via your fingerprint only. Please park and walk. Thompsons Bay is around the 200-meter walk.

 

 

PARKING

Unit nr 5's parking bay is numbered with a 5. Only one parking allocated to the apartment.

Additional cars may park on the visitor's parking bays.

 

DB BOARD

DB Board is located behind the front door.

Simbiti Estate Rules

Please obey Estate Rules at all times, this is a family estate and there is no tolerance for noise or rowdy behaviour! No drones allowed.

Golf Cart - drivers must have a Driver's Licence.

 

Kingfisher Community Centre and the family Heron Community Centre. Both centres with pools and fun family activities. Please note that not all Simbithi facilities are available to visitors/guests.

House Rules

Understanding and complying with our home rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody. Please treat our home with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests.

BE RESPECTFUL

The staff are key to a successful holiday and the efficient running of your holiday home, please treat them with the utmost respect at all times. We will not tolerate our staff being treated badly.​

Regretfully our staff are unable to babysit, wash cars, do shopping/unpack shopping or anything besides their designated duties.

OCCUPANCY

The maximum number of persons occupying the unit at all times must not exceed the number of beds. A maximum of two guests per bedroom will be allowed unless the homeowner has provided extra beds.

DONT FEED THE MONKEYS

Under any circumstances whatsoever do not feed the monkeys - mother or babies! 

Please be aware of the monkeys they are inquisitive and can get very aggresive.

Don’t leave fruit out within sight of the monkeys – they will come in, make a mess, panic and  break things. 

Close all windows and doors when leaving the house.

 

NO SMOKING

No smoking is allowed in the apartment. Please smoke outside away from windows or furniture.

 

NO PARTIES

No parties, overcrowding or excessive noise is permitted.

Failure to adhere to this will result in immediate eviction with no refund of rent.

Guests will be liable for all damages accured by parties at our rental apartment.

BEACH TOWELS

Please do not use bathroom towels on the beach, beach towels are available.

NO BEACH SAND IN THE POOL

Please do not wash beach sand off in the pool.

LEAVE AS FOUND

Accidents happen, so please report any breakages or damage to our team. If anything is broken, this should be replaced ‘like for like’ by the Guest to ensure a full refund of the breakage deposit.

BE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS

Use linen and towels sparingly. 

Please save water, and electricity and turn off fans and Aircon when not using the area.  

Please try and recycle where possible, let's look after our planet together.

Please do not flush any foreign matters down the toilet.

Before you Go...

Check-out is at or before 10 am. 

Please communicate with the LCE team about the key handover.

Please switch off all lights, and airconditioning, and close all windows. 

Please remember to settle any money owing to the staff for additional shifts or laundry the day before departure.

Please remember to complete the departure form.
